In the summer of 2013, I agreed to help a friend move his belongings from San Francisco to Portland. What started as a contained excursion north turned into two months of wandering through the western United States. I explored a chunk of the Southwest, flew into the Idaho wilderness, cleared trails in Montana, and ate and drank my way through the Northwest, among many other things. Here are some of the images of those adventures.
